JOBS DESCRIPTION:


General
§  Work closely with the HR Manager and relevant stakeholders in the firm.
§  Assist the manager to implement TM strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy and objectives of the firm.
§  Participate in the annual planning and budgeting exercise and carry out regular reviews during the year to ensure adherence to the budget.
§  Assist the manager to achieve legal compliance in TM practices.
§  Recommend improvements on TM systems and processes where appropriate.
§  Assist in enforcing TM policies.
§  Responsible for HRIS data entry and date integrity.
§  Assist in the annual Employee Satisfaction Survey and action plans.
§  Handle employee and partner queries professionally and efficiently. Escalate critical issues to the manager as necessary.
§  Attend all TM related trainings to upgrade skills.
§  Other related work as assigned.

Recruitment & Selection
§  Facilitate the recruitment and selection process which include but is not limited to working closely with recruiters, liaising with candidates, scheduling interviews and assessment tests, conducting applicant reference checks and drafting employment contracts.
§  Maintain records of applicants in HRIS.
§  Coordinate with law schools to organise career talks to promote the firm’s graduate recruitment programs.

Onboarding
§  Oversee the onboarding process of new joiners and work efficiently with other teams to ensure the onboarding is carried out successfully.
§  Create employee file record in HRIS and collect relevant information from the new hire for record purposes.
§  Conduct TM induction as instructed.
§  Conduct office tour and familiarise the new joiner/s with the office facilities.
§  Conduct monthly check-ins of selected new joiners to ensure they are settling in and adapting to the office environment and their new role. 
§  Assist in the employee confirmation process towards the end of the probationary period of the new joiner.

Compensation and Benefits
§  Assist the manager in payroll preparation and the firm’s reward and recognition programs.
§  Work closely with the manager and insurance broker/s to renew insurance policies under the TM scope which include policy renewals, endorsement of incoming and outgoing employees; and facilitate the claim process for employees.
§  Monitor employees’ leaves to ensure consistency in HRIS and the practice management system; and update the Office Calendar to reflect the same.
§  Monitor changes in employees’ benefits and communicate to the payroll administrator for timely adjustments.
§  Assist the manager in the annual market salary and benefits survey.
§  Communicate payroll related information to the Payroll Administrator for payroll processing.
§  Prepare standard TM letters and documents, such as certificate of employment, and various documents to assist employees in loan, visa and lawyer trainee applications.
§  Liaise with Finance business service to pay TM suppliers and the stipend of trainees.

Learning & Development
§  Help the manager ensure that the L&D plan is progressing within the timeline.
§  Schedule trainings using the Office Calendar.
§  Follow up with trainers on the completion and submission of their training materials.
§  Facilitate and/or conduct selected trainings as appropriate.
§  Maintain accurate training records including but not limited to attendance list, training materials, training flyer and training feedback.
§  Work closely with identified trainers to design attractive training materials, set training schedule, collect training feedback and submit the same to trainers and relevant stakeholders for purposes of improving the effectiveness and efficiency of future trainings.
§  Liaise with external training institutions, where applicable.
§  Assist in the logistic arrangement for internal and external training programs including but not limited to organising the venue, training materials, refreshments and other arrangements as necessary.
§  Help organise cross practice group / practice group training / firm retreats (training and team building).
§  Help to promote and inculcate a learning culture in the firm.

Performance Management
§  Assist in the annual performance evaluation exercise, and other evaluation tools if used.  Schedule meetings and communicate as necessary.
§  Track the probation timeline of new employees and facilitate the performance evaluation process and confirmation.
§  Facilitate key performance indicators (KPIs) setting and ensure timely submission of annual KPIs by all teams.

Offboarding
§  Facilitate the offboarding process of resigning employees and work efficiently with other teams to ensure the offboarding is carried out efficiently.
§  Perform other necessary exit clearance tasks to successfully exit an employee.


JOB REQUIREMENT:

Education
§ At least an undergraduate degree in Human Resources or Business Administration from a recognised university.
§ Other additional academic qualifications in related field and/or English would be an added advantage.

Experience
§  At least 2 years of working experience in the field of Human Resources.
§  Some experience in learning and development would be an added advantage.
§  Experience in one or more HR systems and databases.
Skills, Knowledge and Characteristics
§  Good knowledge of HR disciplines.
§  Familiar with the Cambodian labor law and other related local regulations.
§  Is service oriented and able to empathise.
§  Good active listening and feedback skills.
§  Demonstrate a high level of discretion.
§  Ability to work under pressure.

Key Requisites
§  Good command of spoken and written English and Khmer.
§  Proficiency in Microsoft office applications - Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
§  Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
§  Possess team player qualities.

§  Self-driven and able to work independently and collaboratively with limited supervision.
