JOBS DESCRIPTION:
  • Manage a QS Team consisting of QS Engineers, Architects working integrated with Technical Team.
  • Responsible for the cost of any building project - from initial estimates, right through to the acquisition of materials and closing of project
  • Technically strong in project cost planning, scheduling and reporting
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, contracts, costing, bills of quantities and other details regarding quantities of required materials
  • Perform and manage project activity scheduling & monitoring on using milestone progress, CPM (Critical Path Method) and advanced scheduling, analysis & reporting techniques
  • Excellent understanding of documentation quality, be part of document control
  • Detailed knowledge of building and construction technology, processes, materials, business and legal matters
  • Undertake cost analysis and planning for new construction, repair and maintenance project work
  • Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies
  • Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports
  • Perform risk, value management and cost control
  • Provide analysis on contractual claims, value completed work and arrange payments
  • Seek to minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality
  • Contract Negotiation and Contract Management
  • Identify, analyses and develop responses to commercial risks
  • Analyze completed work and arranging payment to contractors
  • Conduct regular site visits, assessments and projections for future work
  • Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use
  • Provide advice and forecasts about costs and procurement strategy
  • Negotiation and team work skills, ability to motivate and lead those on site
  • Demonstrate innovative approaches to problem solving and an ability to negotiate across the various levels of any construction environment
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned by Assistant to Chairwoman and also assigned by Chairwoman.  
JOB REQUIREMENT:
  • Holding a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource and have been in related HR management role at least for 4 years. 
  • Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural, Mathematics, Construction Science or related field
  • Chartered Surveyor is preferable
  • Having minimum of 5 - 7 years of Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor, Project Controls or similar capacity in project estimating and cost controlling preferably in Cambodia or in SEA
  • Ability to write clear and precise reports and to relate complex information in a simple way to a diverse range of people
  • Being excellent communicator and possess impressive numeracy skills to handle the financial and mathematical demands of the role
